Nalan + Ralf | Wedding in Waldheim, Risch

One of the most exciting aspects of being a photographer is being able to experience a wide variety of beautiful cultures, and Ralf and Nalan’s wedding was no exception. It was a perfectly beautiful day in Zug for their wedding, followed by a stunning reception at Waldheim, Risch.

Some of Nalan’s family came all the way to Switzerland from Turkey for the celebration. It was  quite a mix of cultures on the wedding day too. There was obviously the Swiss traditions, and of course Nalan’s family added some turkish wedding traditions as well. All in all the day was just SO much fun, laid-back, emotional, beautiful photogenic traditional turkish dancing and music!!…topped off with delicious food and one crazy dance party to end it! That’s my kind of wedding!

I don’t think my words can fully explain how truly amazing these two are – not only with each other, but with everyone lucky enough to call themselves their friends/family. I’m not sure words will do it justice. But thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You both made me feel so welcomed, and so taken care of – on a day where you could have been worried about a million other things. This is a wedding I will remember for a lifetime. I hope these pictures take you back to that beautiful day, always.

Love xx

Andreas & Miriam Engagement / Villa Villette Cham

I am  so excited to go through the photos from Miriam & Andreas’s engagement session! I have to say, there isn’t a picture I don’t absolutely adore from their session. I had a hard time choosing favorites because they are just so adorable and happy together all the time (which is so clear in the photos), and always keep each other laughing (especially Andreas!:)) – the best.

We met up at Villa Villette Cham. The park was in full bloom and made for the most stunning backdrop!! I had so much fun wandering around the trees for their cozy engagement session.

Here are some of my favorite moments from my time with them!

Maryna & Markus / Giardino Verde / Uitikon-Waldegg Zurich

What’s better than a wedding at a tropical greenhouse? Maryna and Markus had a beautiful, warm summer day to celebrate their day at the lovely Giardino Verde.
Marina is a beautiful, sweet, and incredibly lighthearted woman whose smile lights up the room, and she wanted this day to be extra special for everyone involved, not just her and Markus.

Markus was incredibly handsome wearing a classic black tuxedo and bowtie. You can’t go wrong in a tux! Needless to say, Markus was moved when he saw her walk down the isle.

Once inside the reception I was thrilled with the styling. Shades of gold and blue gave a glamorous feel to the evening and the room was transformed by stunning florals designed by Thomas Spiess. Caterina at Wedding a la Carte made sure that no detail was left unattended which made my job that much easier.

The party got started after an incredible dinner, and at any given time you could see people laughing, hugging, and dancing.

The night continued after speeches with Brazilian dancers which took the house by storm! Dancing the night away to some great music. The party was so much fun I stayed later than I had originally planned!
This was a beautiful celebration of the love between two lovely people and It was such a treat to be a part of their wonderful day! Here are a few images from this incredible day.

Giancarlo & Sara’ Wedding / Zug

I do love it when I get to photograph a wedding in my local neighborhood, so Sarah & Giancarlo’s wedding at Bürgergemeinde Zug was a real pleasure.

A small wedding was all they wanted. The whole day was a small intimate affair, and only a few close friends & family to witness the ceremony.

Once Sara & Giancarlo had exchanged their I do’s all the guests followed the wedding party on foot to FelsenKeller for a cocktail party, before heading to Zurich.

We ascended to the sublime Jules Verne Panorama Bar overlooking the city, and then enjoy some fine dining in Storchen, Zurich to conclude.

Thank you so much Sara  & Giancarlo  for having us along for the ride! x
