Stefanie + Matías | Villa Cochogue, Chile

To remember Stefanie and Matías Love Session simply makes me happy. They are fun, madly in love and they seriously rock.

So, naturally, I was so excited for their love session in Villa Cocholgue, Chile. We met at around 6pm, when the light was still a little harsh – but once that sun starts to set it does so quickly… so chasing the sun was a must! We had the most beautiful sunset and golden light I’ve ever seen at the end of our session and their blooming love was so contagious.

This is one of the first love sessions of this year and I can’t believe how beautiful it was. Holy Molly! Needless to say, they put up with me shooting for a really long time because the sky just got better and better. I can’t get over these pictures and how much joy is in them!!

From Chile with love, I hope you like them:)

Cake Boy Paris | Le Marais, Paris

While I was in Paris a couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure to photograph Frank Barron from Cake Boy Paris at his neighborhood in Le Marais.

Frank immediately knew he wanted to take me to two of his favorite Parisian spots. First, we headed to the farmers market on boulevard Richard Lenoir. For anyone who has visited Paris, it will be nearly impossible to walk into a farmers market without letting out a few “oohhhhs” and “aahhhhs.”

For Frank there is nothing like open-air markets–farm fresh veggies, fruits, and flowers – This Market in particular, is an integral part of his life in Paris.

While he’ll usually get his flowers at the market he also loves to stop at L’Artisan Fleuriste. This breathtaking flower shop uses flowers from the South of France as well as Brittany. I have never seen such beautiful flowers before ooohhh soooo gorgeous.

After shopping and exploring what the market and local shops had to offer, it was time to move on to his charming & perfectly curated apartment for some delicious baking. His adorable apartment in Marais is a true charmer and I was thrilled to watch the cake ~sculpting ~ happen right before my very eyes, and to capture it all on camera.
People that compliment each other in personality or skill create the most thoughtful end results, so, together with his equally lovely cake sister Jennifer who was visiting from Australia, they created the most beautiful vanilla layer cake with strawberry buttercream frosting! Topped with wild strawberries and tiny flowers.

In addition to being photogenic and just plain charming, Frank is funny, sophisticated and genuinely lovely person. It was such a pleasure to get to know him.
Be sure to check his website to read more about his story, and I love his Instagram too! I hope you like the pictures.

Happy Weekend my lovelies!

xx

Loren + Anthony | Engagement Session in Tuileries Garden

Meet Loren and Anthony, a gorgeous French couple! We started our photo date walking through the beautiful Tuileries Garden and ended our session at Cafe Le Nemours. When we started the session it was raining a little bit, but fortunately that passed quickly – which actually was perfect because there was almost nobody at the park :)) Thankfully these guys were up for anything and rocked these romantic rainy day.

The ease, comfort and love was so apparent…which you’ll see when you scroll through my favorites below.

Thank you so much Loren and Anthony for being such a wonderful couple and spending the morning with me:)

Aarne + Daniel Engagement Session in Zürich Switzerland

It’s amazing how Photography has brought me to meet so many beautiful couples and have allowed me to get to know them and show off their very own love stories.
In this occasion, these guys were absolutely fantastic in front of my camera and were up for anything! – they’re both such funny, charming, outgoing guys, and it wasn’t hard to see the love shining through these shots. I feel so lucky to have the chance to document the realness of love, just there, existing, between two amazing people.
I typically don’t get excited for some indoor portraits because it usually means its raining outside. But these photos are some of my favorites I’ve taken!

Oh! And yes, for a great couples shoot, you don’t need a fancy location, all you need is each other and  love, love. love.
Aarne & Daniel ~ thank you, from the very bottom of my heart and congrats again on your engagement! xxx
