CINDY & EMANUEL | WEDDING IN VILLA WENKENHOF RIEHEN | BASEL

Cindy and Emanuel charming Villa Wenkenhof Riehen wedding venue was the perfect location for their chic wedding day and in combination with the fantastic sunny weather made it impossible to not get some lovely pictures of their day. I must say, this Place is officially one of my favorite venues in Switzerland.

We started the day at the historic hotel Les Trois Rois where they got ready together, before heading to the beautiful villa, just a short drive away from the hotel for the ceremony and reception. Cindy’s oh-so classic and chic wedding dress with a fitted silhouette and a long train looked so breathtaking, don’t you think?

They had friends and family travel from all over to enjoy the festivities and to celebrate the love + union of these two…

Every single detail was well thought through and I was so lucky to be there to capture it. The green and white gorgeous florals from English Rosarium created a perfectly dreamy atmosphere. I was in photographer heaven!

Thank you again Cindy and Emanuel for these beautiful wedding memories xoxo

Venus & Aaron | Engagement Session in Zürich

Venus and Aaron session started around Uraniastrasse following our way to the famous Lindenhof Spielplatz with views of the Limmat river and overlooking the city’s charming old town. Then we walked our way out of the park stopping in every pretty spot we could find and a lot of cute little streets.

District 1 in Zurich is the perfect place for engagement photos! You can take photos anywhere at the old city! I really can’t have enough of this lovely town:)

There is something I love about photographing couples and it’s the chemistry in between the two. The way they smile and looked at each other or interact with each other and just enjoy the moment, is always amazing to capture.

Thanks again so much for trusting me to photograph you guys around!!! I hope our pass cross again somewhere new :)!!

Amy & Niko | Spring Wedding in Bignasco, Vallemaggia | Switzerland

Amy and Niko flew all the way from Atlanta USA to Switzerland to elope!
I didn’t meet these love birds until their wedding day, but even though I only spent few hours with them, their connection was tangibly strong.

I was so happy to be back in Ticino and photograph their wedding. I just can get enough of this magical region in Switzerland.

Before their ceremony, we drove to Maggia River and Cascata di Bignasco, and took a walk around for portraits! I love some of the moments you’ll see with their daughter in the photos below. I know how sweet and joyful family life is, and I get a lot of meaning from documenting these beautiful moments. Their love is so evident and just shines as bright as the sun!

Rustico Ninin is the perfect place when you’re looking to have a smaller wedding or an elopement and focus on each other! It was everything I love about elopements. Sunlight danced behind the trees and showered the couple with a soft glow that was beyond romantic. It was so beautiful and Sweet!

They eloped but didn’t leave out their family. They wanted to have their ceremony privately. Just the two of them with their closest family. Daughter, parents and grandmother as witnesses….but it’s time to get onto the wedding images, so I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did shooting it.

Many thanks to Laura Dova Weddings for her recommendation.

Clare + Julian | Wedding in Interlaken

Clare is from Canada and Julian from Switzerland. In the small mountain town of Beatenberg, Interlaken, they committed their love to one another in front of their love ones.

I love nothing more than when couples choose to do what feels right to them, and not get stuck in traditions. It was a day full of clouds and bits of rain but that didn’t stop the love and joy that seeped out of every edge of their wedding day. Friends near and far came to celebrate and I’m so happy I got to be apart of their beautiful day.
