Caitlin & Andrew | Engagement Session in Saint Saphorin and Château de Chillon

I started their engagement session at Saint-Saphorin. A charming village located in the Lavaux vineyards. Caitlin and Andrew were interested in a winery for their engagement session backdrop, and Lavaux Vineyards stunning views just can’t be beat!

In early October the vines are all still quite green and pretty and the sun sets early on the other side of the mountains providing the softest warmest light. We took some time to take in the views and stroll through the village and hillsides before heading to location number two.

Just a short drive away, we headed to the shores of Lake Geneva to capture some lovely photos at Château de Chillon. We used up all of the daylight we had left, and loved every second with the sweetest couple.

I really love having engagement sessions cause it gives you a chance to experience what it’s to be like on the day of your wedding day and we all get the chance to hang out a bit and to get to know each other.

Clare + Julian | Wedding in Interlaken

Clare is from Canada and Julian from Switzerland. In the small mountain town of Beatenberg, Interlaken, they committed their love to one another in front of their love ones.

I love nothing more than when couples choose to do what feels right to them, and not get stuck in traditions. It was a day full of clouds and bits of rain but that didn’t stop the love and joy that seeped out of every edge of their wedding day. Friends near and far came to celebrate and I’m so happy I got to be apart of their beautiful day.

Christy + Thomas | Wedding in St Charles hall, Meggen

Their wedding was one of the most breathtaking weddings I’ve photographed. It was like a Christmas morning when I arrive to see the delights unfold.

I started very early in the morning at the villa with Christy and her lovely maids where the girls got ready. There was the most lovely atmosphere of of fun and anticipation. When Christy finally stepped into her beautiful gown there were smiles all around.

First the closest family and friends were called in for the wedding breakfast and this is where the party really started.

The ceremony was like something from a fairytale, the flowers, Thomas’s face when he saw Christy.

After the ceremony guests made their way back onto the lawn and were treated to an apero in the sun followed by a fabulous dinner and a collection of amazing speeches.

Clara + Francois | Wedding in Curzútt, Monte Carasso, Bellinzona

Their wedding in Monte Carasso was an incredible and beautiful experience for every single guest as well as for me. From riding the cable car up to the lovely village of Curzútt to the walking down the mountain to the church of San Bernard, it was an emotional and exciting day from start to finish.

Curzútt is such a gorgeous place for a wedding. I love the textures and the warmth of the wood with the sunshine streaming in through the trees. It is absolutely breathtaking.

Clara and Francois both have a gentleness to them that is so well matched in one another, it’s something I admired in them both. Here’s the story of their beautiful wedding day with all of the people that they love most.
